HOW TO GET TO THE CONFERENCE VENUE:

Madinat Al Irfane, Rabat – Morocco

The conference venue is located in Madinat Al Irfane, Av. Allal El Fassi, Madinat El Irfane. Rabat, within the university and institutional district of the city.
Participants can reach Rabat through several international airports.

From Rabat-Salé Airport (RBA)

  • Rabat–Salé Airport is the closest airport to the conference venue.
  • By taxi: Taxis are available directly outside the airport terminal. Madinat Al Irfane is approximately 15 km from the airport, and the journey normally takes around 15–25 minutes, depending on traffic.
  • By public transport: Airport bus connections are available towards Rabat. Participants can then continue by taxi or tram towards Madinat Al Irfane.

From Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN)

  • Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport is approximately 100 km from Rabat and has direct railway connections.
  • By train: The airport railway station is accessible directly from the arrivals area. Participants can take a train from Mohammed V Airport towards Rabat and continue to Rabat Agdal.
  • From Rabat Agdal: From Rabat Agdal Railway Station, Madinat Al Irfane can be reached by taxi. Participants should indicate “Madinat Al Irfane / Université Mohammed V” as their destination.
  • Recommended option: Train from Mohammed V Airport → Rabat Agdal, followed by a short taxi ride to the conference venue.

From Tangier Ibn Battouta International Airport (TNG)

  • Tangier is connected to Rabat by Morocco’s high-speed Al Boraq railway service.
  • Airport → Tangier Ville: Participants can take a taxi or airport shuttle bus to Tangier Ville Railway Station.
  • Tangier Ville → Rabat Agdal: From Tangier Ville, take an Al Boraq high-speed train to Rabat Agdal (45min).
  • Rabat Agdal → Madinat Al Irfane: From Rabat Agdal station, take a taxi to the conference venue.
  • Recommended option: Airport shuttle/taxi → Tangier Ville → Al Boraq to Rabat Agdal → taxi to Madinat Al Irfane.

From Marrakech Menara International Airport (RAK)

  • Marrakech is approximately 325 km from Rabat.
  • By train: From Marrakech Airport, take a taxi to Marrakech Railway Station. From there, regular ONCF trains connect Marrakech with Rabat Agdal.
  • From Rabat Agdal: Continue by taxi to Madinat Al Irfane / Université Mohammed V.
  • Recommended option: Taxi from Marrakech Airport → Marrakech Railway Station → train to Rabat Agdal → taxi to the conference venue.
